Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful men, especially my dad! This will be my second year without him. He was the best dad any girl could ask for, we did everything together and were two peas in a pod:) I am blessed and thankful to have so many wonderful memories with him.
We had a nice day with Jon, made him pancakes for breakfast and gave him his gifts. Then we went to the pool to relax, which was good for about an hour and then it got to be tooo hot, so we came home, had some lunch and watched TV. We grilled steaks and had a yummy family dinner! Jon is a wonderful father and hubby, I can't wait to have another baby for him to love and cherish! We are very blessed!

Speaking of Baby Smith #2.......

I am 10 weeks today, still feeling very tired an have been experiencing nausea off and on. I hope this passes within the next few weeks, pray for me!
We are leaving for North Carolina early Saturday morning to visit Jon's family and My BFF Jen and her family for a week. I can't wait. Being home is nice, but getting out and traveling other places would do me some good! Should have lots of pics when I return. Jen is prego with her 2nd baby too, we are a week apart. Plus a couple of other friends are expecting as well. Most of us are a week apart and there is about 3 of us. Crazy! I guess everyone was busy in April! LOL!

8 weeks and 2 days

Not much to report here, I am very tired and get a bit of nausea during certain times of the day, but all in all I can't complain. I went to get my blood work done yesterday and Jackson was going to be my hand holder, because I am not a fan. After about a 30 minute wait (I guess everyone decided to go at 10:00) we went in! As soon as Jackson saw the needle he darted LOL!! After a little talk he held my hand, but look a different direction, he was my hero! Towards the end it started to hurt, thank god she was almost done! After that we went to Countryside Mall and walked around for a bit. Then grandma met us at Chuck E Cheese, which was a nice surprise for Jackson. We had pizza and played lots of games. We even ran into Kasie, Cooper & Britnee too. Last week we met up with them at Jungle Bounce and the boys had a blast. Afterwards we had a nice lunch at Panera, Jackson actually ate broccoli and cheese soup, who would have thought! I have to get Jon to start taking pics of my belly, but I am still in the kind of not pregnant phase, I mean I feel pregnant, but I have a "fat" belly vs a "baby" belly still, so it is kind of hard to take good pictures! Thanks for checking in on us!

7 Weeks and 1 Day...

Today was my "first" official prenatal appointment and Jackson' first day of summer home with mommy! What a day... My appointment went great, baby is there and due January 17, measuring accurate, heart beating and all! LOL!! Jackson was good for a a few minutes and then he lost it, but we had a talk and everything was a ok! My next appt. is July 6, I will be 12 weeks. I forgot how many pamphlets, tests and literature you get bombarded with.... I am feeling good so far, have had a little nausea here and there, but I can't complain! Thanks for checking in on us!
