In about 2 weeks.....

Landon Steven will be arriving! We are still on track for a January 7th delivery! So far no contractions and he is remaining very snug inside! Doctor's appointment went great on Monday, BP looks good, baby is around 7 pounds and with 2 weeks left he is sure to pack them on (as well as his mommy). He may just give his BIG Brother a run for his money in the weight category!! Jackson was 9 pounds and 22 1/4 inches long! What do you think this one will weigh? Any guesses? I asked Jonathon why do I have such BIG BABIES, because we ourselves were average (meaning 6-7 pounders), but we can't seem to come up with an answer???? I guess its all the good food I eat! If only the weight came off as fast as it goes on, right :)

Pregnancy (33 Weeks)/Family Pics

7 Weeks.... OH MY!!!

It is so hard to believe that in 7 weeks Landon will be here! Time is really flying and the fact that Thanksgiving is next week is crazy!!! I am going to try and stay calm and enjoy the holiday's but at the same time I know my nerves are going to be all over the place!!! So far my weight gain is up to 25 pounds, my blood pressure is good and Landon is very active! I am hopeful I can keep everything under control and get plenty of rest in the next coming weeks. I am thankful for having a healthy pregnancy thus far and for my family. Things are a little tough as of lately now that Jon is on the job hunt, but I have faith god has a path for him and he will get something soon! Jackson is doing wonderful in school and is getting excited about having a little brother! Sorry no pictures again, but I do have a friend coming over this weekend to take some family/pregnancy pics for us, so I hope to have those soon!

Happy Birthday Jackson

6 years ago today Jon and I become parents to a beautiful little boy!!

Jackson Robert Smith was born at 5:53 pm and weighed in at a bouncing 8 lbs 15.9 ounces and a 22 1/4 inches long!

He is the best thing that has ever happened to us and I can't imagine life without him!!

Baby Shower

I finally am posting pictures from the baby shower! Landon will be one dapper young man with all the cute clothes he received. A special thanks to everyone who help out and made my shower so special, it has been almost six years since my last one and I forgot how much stuff one little baby needs!!

Next week we will schedule the due date for baby Landon and how special is it that we get to pick his birthday on his big brother's SIXTH birthday!!

Kindergarten Picture and a quick update....

Well here is my little red head, he has his mommy's little smirk (used no teeth just like me)!!! He is getting so big, in just about 2 weeks he will be SIX!!!!


And in 11 weeks we will have a newborn, yikes!! My appointment went well, Landon is good, kicking like crazy. I passed my glucose test the first time, so I did not have to do the 3 hour one, my weight gain, well umm we won't comment on that LOL! Healthy that's all I will say :) My next appointment we will be scheduling my c-section for my 39th week! Now it is all getting REAL!! I hope to have some baby shower pics this afternoon, hopefully I can post some of me!!

3 months from today....

Landon will be here!!

I had a surprise baby shower this past weekend that my mom and sister in law threw for me... I received some wonderful gifts and am very grateful! I hope to have some pics to post by next week! Thank you to everyone who came and helped out!!!!

Here is Landon's room so far, we are still missing a few things:

Jackson is starting to adjust and he even got to feel his little brother kick last night! He is doing so good in school and loves it!!! His writing and reading skills are getting so much better, he has even started to add and subtract numbers in his head and on paper! I may be biast, but my little man is a genius!! :)

105 days to go.....and hormones are at an all time HIGH!!!

Wow I still can't believe it! Time is flying by...... Not much has been going on here, just trying to stay busy while Jackson is at school during the day. I (well Jon did) painted Landon's room (thanks to my SIL for having the extra paint), and decorated with a few things. We did keep Jackson's baby mattress, but got rid of everything else, so basically we have nothing and are starting from scratch!! We have been trying to buy things a little at a time, but every time I turn around I am paying a bill or trying to catch up!! I know everyone is struggling these days. Lately I find myself really missing the working world, adult conversations, using my brain and oh yeah, MY PAYCHECK :) Hopefully once the baby is here and I re-coop I will get a job in no time :) It's hard to believe that in a few short weeks I will be out of work for 8 months!!! I am very grateful for this pregnancy, receiving unemployment benefits and for my happy, healthy family!! Sorry to rant, but some days you just need to! :)

Labor Day Weekend 09'

We had a busy weekend, which is always nice! Saturday we had a 1st birthday party to go to for baby Justin (my friend Melissa's little boy). Jackson, Logan and Maddi all had a blast swimming and eating cake :)

Sunday we painted Landon's room, well Jon and Jackson painted and didn't let me :)

And yesterday we spent a nice day at the Hard Rock Hotel, swimming and hanging out.

It was a great weekend, except for the fact grandma and my hubby are coming down with something, and I am praying Jackson and I can dodge it! I really do not want to get sick!! Holiday weekends are wonderful, but the next days to follow are always the hardest!
