Rub A Dub, Dub..

Just wanted to share a few pictures of Jackson while he was taking a bath this evening. He is too funny sometimes!

Great Week, you say!

1. Car is repaired, "she" looks gorgeous!! It is raining here in FL so I feel a little resistant driving, I may let the hubby drive it just to be safe!

2. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield to see what the hold up was and they still have not made a decision... Hopefully soon, mama needs a REAL paycheck, because...

3. Jon and I are HAVING A BABY! Yes you read that correct, a baby... 5.5 years later we are expecting another Smith Baby, so basically we will be newbies!!

We have had a very stressful month so these three things are exciting and rewarding!

and my Baby Belly (which isn't much yet, but just wait, I can only hope I control myself during this pregnancy and not gain soooo much weight). If that happens there will be no prego pictures to share LOL! We are very excited and scared at the same time. I may start another blog, or I may just rename this one and they can share!

Playtime and Icecream

We decided this morning that the park was in our future, but as most of you know Florida gets very warm, very early and well I prefer the inside "parks" to the outside "parks" for that very reason. After I dropped Jon off at work (because we are still down to one car) I came home with some Dunkin Doughnut Munchkins for my munchkin. He had a few and I got ready. Then off to the park we go, well mall we go.

Jackson was ok with the mall, because he remembered they had ice cream right outside the play area. So after running, jumping and climbing on everything for about 10 minutes his mind wandered off to ice cream land. HaganDaz strawberry ice cream, kids size, with brownie bites, weird combo right? I go to pay, $4.58 she says, where does HaganDaz get off charging that much, geez.....!!!!

After that I decided we would sit down and finish every single bite! So we did and off we went to get Jon from work. We had a nice lunch at Pei Wei (kind of like PF CHANGS), and Jackson did not eat anything except 5 FOURTUNE COOKIES! Needless to say his morning intake of sugar had followed over into lunch time! Dinner was going to be very healthy, no junk!

LEGOS AND ROBOTS?

Tonight was pizza night and I was very happy! Afterwards I came up to to blog and check Facebook only to walk into LEGO LAND in my room! Jackson has such an imagination. The things his brain can process at times I just can't believe. He loves the Star Wars Legos and has put several together, most have been for ages 8 and up. He takes the little booklet out and follows directions page by page. Tonight though my room was taken over by the THE BIG LEGO BLOCKS, he has been building Robots and as I am typing this he is having a full on robot conversation LOL! God I love him!

Happy Mother's Day a day late....

I am a day late, but I hope everyone had a wonderful Mommy's Day! I got to sleep in until 7:30 and had breakfast at Cracker Barrell. Jackson paid for it! LOL! Well grandma gave him the money the night before and told me he was going to buy us all breakfast! Tina, Bryan, Logan and Madison joined us and it was delicious! Afterwards we headed back to the house to hang out, we attempted to draw on our driveway with some chalk, but soon figured out that it was not sidewalk chalk (the BIG chunky chalk), but the little (easy to break in your hands )chalk, so that lasted about 10 minutes.

Then it was off to watch some movies and get a nap in. Dinner was great, my sister in law came over and cooked some little Cornish chickens, THE BEST mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and asparagus! It was a wonderful mother's day! I am so thankful to have such an amazing family and be blessed with Jackson. He is the best present I could have ever asked for and I really can't remember life without him!

Cleaning, Rearranging, Hanging Pictures and more...

That is what I have been doing for the past two days! I don't know how it happened, but I am glad it did!! It's always nice to have things organized and clean, but I am pooped!

Things are pretty good this week, I am still waiting on the insurance company for the other girl to accept liability, but it looks as though that may not happen and they are considering us both negligent, how I could be responsible for her turning left into me or even avoiding that is crazy, but I guess we will see what happens! I am pretty sure it will not work in my favor and I will be forking out $500 bucks! This is the story of my life!! Good news, well hopefully I have a 2nd interview on Monday for Blue Cross, I REALLY need this job!!! Keep your fingers crossed, please! Mama needs some clothes and so does the Jackman!! He is growing like a weed! Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

When hanging out gets messy...

This is what happens when we all "hang out upstairs" some how all of his toys end up in our room...

When did our room become a play zone? I know it is a HUGE room, but his room isn't to shabby either!!

I guess it is the price we pay as parents to enjoy the playfulness of a child and soak it all up before it becomes a thing of the past! Jackson will soon face the fact that his mother has a disorder and doesn't like mess and everything has its place... LOL!! We can hope, right?
