Winter...Spring...Winter...Spring??

That is what us Floridans are trying to figure out?? One day it is freezing and the next it is hot! Everyone is sick and once they get better it cycles again, uhhh! I am usually not a fan of extremely hot weather or humidity, but for some reason I CAN NOT WAIT until it is warm!! I know I will be kicking myself in the butt when it is 100 degrees with 100% humidity, but I want everyone o start feeling better and get to have some fun out doors!! This month is flying by! I can not believe it is 2 weeks until April!!! Jackson has started up with soccer again and loves it! I have to say my poor child looks like an albino compared to most kids here! Poor baby can't even go out for an hour with out getting some kind of burn!! Guess its time for sunblock!!! Unfortunately Landon has his white skin too! They definitely did not take after their mama, who can get white as can be, but does tan! These boys have no chance!! Landon went for his 2 month check up on the 15th and he weighed 12 pounds 14 ounces, 22 1/2 inches (he is a little shorty, because his brother was 23 1/4 inches at birth).. He is gonna be my little butterball I just know it!! LOL!! He is a little behind his BIG brother who was always in the 90th-95th percentile for everything... And he is getting taller everyday and growing like a weed. He is only 6 and is wearing size 7 jeans/shorts and almost medium shirts!!! He has a tiny little waist but he does have a booty and muscular legs!! :) He is gonna be my sports star!! Either way I couldn't ask for two of the most adorable little men! I have to say I am out numbered in this house, but love it!! Here are a few pictures from this month!

Hopeful.... And Truly Blessed!

These past 2 months have been very crazy to say the least!! Between the surgery at just 2 weeks old and the rest of us catching this god awful cold that just lingers... we have all trucked along through the crankiness and discomfort! I am truly blessed for my two boys, my hubby, my mom and getting to stay home this past year to do all the stay at home mommy things! I forgot how much you miss when you work outside of the house! Even though this has been a challenging year things are starting to look up and I only hope for the best going forward!

Here are a few pictures of my little guys! Landon was 2 months old on the 7th! Time is passing me by these days!! Enjoy!

3 weeks old today!

Well the little guy is 3 weeks old today! We have had a rough week and a half though. After the first week of having the perfect baby everything changed.... We went to the doctor for his 2 week check up and he gained almost a whole pound and looked great except for the occasional spit up here and there. The doctor recommended soy formula to see if that worked. Turned out that the formula was not the problem, because the spit up turned into vomiting every time he ate! Poor baby could not eat more than an ounce before he puked it all up. By the time Sunday came I was at the end of my rope! Monday we went back to the doctor and found that he lost 6 ounces in a week and my mothers intuition was telling me something more was wrong with him then just the occasional spit up problems. The doctor sent us to the hospital for an upper gi barium test... After 4 hours and constant vomit ting the concluded that he needed to be admitted and had something called pyloric stenosis. This is a condition where the pylorus muscle (at the bottom of your stomach) was so contracted that it could not release food or anything into the small intestines thus causing it to come back up and make him vomit. The surgery was scheduled right away for the next morning. He could not eat anything and was very dehydrated. That night was hell, he was so hungry and wanted nothing to do with any of us unless we had food! The morning of the surgery I was a mess. This is the second time I have had to endure giving my child to a nurse and them undergo surgery, a mothers worst fear. Even though Jackson was almost one when he had his first surgery it wasnt any easier! The surgery went well and now he is tolerating food and is back to be an agel baby! We are all sick and fighting colds so please pray that we get better soon and everyone is onmce again happy and healthyi Thank you to everyone for your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time! Here are a few pics of my little trooper in the hospital!

Landon's Arrival

Landon arrived on January 7, 2010 at 12:19pm. He weighed a whopping 8 pounds, 6.5 ounces and measured in at 21 inches! He is just so handsome, if I do say so :0) Big Brother Jackson was at the hospital for Landon's birthday, he is so in love with him already! We are still having some issues with the attitude, due to video games and I guess just being a 6 year old is part of it too!! All in all these past 5 days have been out of the ordinary to say the least, but it is a good thing!
