The Name Game Part Deux

After our appointment the other day I went and bought a baby name book, because much to my surprise I had not 100% settled on a boys name! We had a few picked out, but I am not feeling them, ya know?? So here it is the final list, I would like to name this little boy soon, or at least by weekends end, beacuse calling "him "the baby" is getting old :)

My top picks are: Liam Steven, Landon Steven or Holden Steven
Jon's picks are: Tanner Steven, Tyson Steven or Tyler Steven

Jon is ok with any name, but I want to be fair! :)

KINDERGARTEN!!!

Today was a BIG day for Jackson! He did so good, such a pro! Mommy cried!

BLUE IT IS!

It's a boy! Today we had our 20 week ultrasound and are happy to be adding another boy to the mix! Jackson will be so excited to have a little brother. Here are some pictures of the newest addition. We are half way through this pregnancy, but have a hurdle to get through in the coming weeks. I can't say much, because I don't know much. We should know more in the next couple of weeks. 3 weeks and counting!

Today was my 17 week appointment! I finally got to hear the heartbeat and it was such a relief, not only have I seen the baby, I now know everything is good and there is a strong heartbeat! I didn't get the number, some same you can tell if the baby is a boy or girl by the high and low number of the heartbeat :) My blood pressure was perfect, which is good news, I will be watching that the entire time to hopefully avoid contracting pre-eclampsia again! Fingers crossed! I did however gain 7 pounds! Not sure how that happened, I really don't feel like I have, but the scale never lies! I am trying to be more cautious of my weight gain this time around, but I am starting off a little heavier then when I became pregnant with Jackson and I am 5 years older! I only hope I stay healthy for myself and the baby and that I can loose the weight better this time around!

16 weeks 5 days

The end of this month is very, very busy... August 25 is Jackson's BIG day, he officially starts Kindergarten! And it's the day we find out what baby to be is :) Knowing is so much easier I think, plus I am not good with surprises! August 27 is my BIG day and my mom's, so we will be celebrating three special events at the "happiest place on earth", Disney! The fact that I will be 28 will not bring me down! :)

Terrible 5's? Is there even a category for this?

Well Jackson has started to show signs of what I like to call "terrible 5's". I am not sure if it's lack of schedule, new baby, or just plain growing up? We have tried everything from threatening to spank to taking away toys. Nothing is working! I would appreciate any advice from you moms out there. I am hoping once Big Boy School starts this will all be in the past. From now on Jon and I have decided to follow through with our threats and start actually taking things away and not earning treats for bad behavior. We will see how this goes.

Baby Update

Today we went to our 2nd appointment, Jon and Jackson came with me so they could see the baby. I had another ultrasound and everything is great, two hands, two legs, a face, heartbeat, etc. The tech measured the baby three times and finally decided I was a little further along then we thought. I am currently 12 weeks 5 days, so I was off by about 4 days.... The due date is now January 13 and we are super excited. Here are a few pictures of the little boy or girl to be. My next appointment is August 3rd (16 weeks 5 days). So we probably will not find out the sex until early September. Thanks for checking in.

Vacation Road Trip To North Carolina and 4th Of July

Our vacation to North Carolina was wonderful, we had a nice visit with some of Jon's family and Jen, Chris and Abby! We drove, which was nice. Jackson was very excited about our road trip, mommy was over driving in the car once we started our trip back to FL though! We hung out and just chilled, which was a nice change. I guess we brought the heat with us, because it was just as hot there as it was here the week before we left. I heard it rained here for most of the week while we were gone. For the 4th we cooked out with burgers, dogs and all kinds of yummy foods, then around 8:30 we headed to Camp Lejune to watch fireworks with Jen, Chris and Abby along with another couple Krissy and Marcus and their two daughters. The fire works were nice and sooo was the weather, no humidity just nice breezes.
