3 months from today....

Landon will be here!!

I had a surprise baby shower this past weekend that my mom and sister in law threw for me... I received some wonderful gifts and am very grateful! I hope to have some pics to post by next week! Thank you to everyone who came and helped out!!!!

Here is Landon's room so far, we are still missing a few things:

Jackson is starting to adjust and he even got to feel his little brother kick last night! He is doing so good in school and loves it!!! His writing and reading skills are getting so much better, he has even started to add and subtract numbers in his head and on paper! I may be biast, but my little man is a genius!! :)

105 days to go.....and hormones are at an all time HIGH!!!

Wow I still can't believe it! Time is flying by...... Not much has been going on here, just trying to stay busy while Jackson is at school during the day. I (well Jon did) painted Landon's room (thanks to my SIL for having the extra paint), and decorated with a few things. We did keep Jackson's baby mattress, but got rid of everything else, so basically we have nothing and are starting from scratch!! We have been trying to buy things a little at a time, but every time I turn around I am paying a bill or trying to catch up!! I know everyone is struggling these days. Lately I find myself really missing the working world, adult conversations, using my brain and oh yeah, MY PAYCHECK :) Hopefully once the baby is here and I re-coop I will get a job in no time :) It's hard to believe that in a few short weeks I will be out of work for 8 months!!! I am very grateful for this pregnancy, receiving unemployment benefits and for my happy, healthy family!! Sorry to rant, but some days you just need to! :)

Here are a few pics of the work in progress we call Landon's Room! Hard to believe I only have 16 weeks left and this little man will be here!! Tomorrow is my appointment wish me luck, hope I haven't gained too much weight :)

Labor Day Weekend 09'

We had a busy weekend, which is always nice! Saturday we had a 1st birthday party to go to for baby Justin (my friend Melissa's little boy). Jackson, Logan and Maddi all had a blast swimming and eating cake :)

Sunday we painted Landon's room, well Jon and Jackson painted and didn't let me :)

And yesterday we spent a nice day at the Hard Rock Hotel, swimming and hanging out.

It was a great weekend, except for the fact grandma and my hubby are coming down with something, and I am praying Jackson and I can dodge it! I really do not want to get sick!! Holiday weekends are wonderful, but the next days to follow are always the hardest!

21 Week Update!

Today we had our level 2 ultrasound with the pernatologist. We received positive news and are very relieved. Landon is doing well, growing and very active! He was very busy while the tech was doing the ultrasound he cooperated just enough to get the information they needed :) I hope this is not any indication of how he is going to be outside of the womb :) If so, Jon and I are in for another Jackson!! I feel very good about our conversation with the doctor and am happy to overcome this hurdle. Now I just need to stay healthy enough until the end. I think I may stop watching the news, because Swine Flu has taken over! I have a Kindergartner who is at risk and myself, so many things going on during this pregnancy! I will be practicing safe hand washing with everyone in my family along with avoiding high traffic areas, I guess!

LANDON STEVEN

will be the name for our 2nd son! Jon and I went back and forth and Landon seemed to be the best fit, Steven is after my dad who passed away 2 years ago, so I am sure this baby boy is going to be very loved and adored by all. Jackson is still growing into his BIG BROTHER status, but I am sure he is going to do great! I am still anxiously waiting a call from the specialist to have my second ultrasound. Sitting here wondering is really not helping, I hope I can make it through next week without going crazy, wish me luck!!

Baby Furniture, Bedding & Strollers OH MY!

Well Wednesday we went and created our registry at Babies R Us and I must say I was very impressed with myself. It has been a long time since we did this :)

Here is the Furniture we picked, since we have a "sun room" or "office" off our bedroom the baby will be bunking with mommy and daddy. Our current town home only has three bedrooms all of which are occupied, so for now we have decided to utilize this space until we move into a bigger place :) This furniture recieved really good reviews and will be the perfect size for the area:

We had really good luck with Jackson's Eddie Bauer travel system when he was a baby! It lasted his entire baby/toddler years :), but this time we decided to go with a different brand, Chicco just because the Eddie Bauer one was very bulky and this one seems to be a litte more lightweight. The colors are grey and orange!
